This incredible architecture news travels the Globe and shows everyone the impossible. Constructing a 15-story project doesn’t seem like a tough job in China though, where building the Ark Hotel didn’t even mean hiring workers through night time. The unique development took place in Changsa and already had its foundation. The construction was possible in just six days due to pre-fabricated columns and modern computerized techniques. The Ark Hotel is a sustainable, level 9 Earthquake-resistant, thermal-insulated building which also features sound-proofing systems. Even though the end result may not seem so spectacular to some, we salute this idea and can’t help imagining how it would be like for architecture projects of colossal importance and size to be built in just a few days. We’ve uploaded a time lapse video of the whole process for a better understanding of what took place on the construction site.  Looks a bit like the feature or what?

Inside Burj Khalifa, the tallest tower in the world, lives a luxuriously new and often dark world called the Armani Hotel Dubai. Elegant and understated only begin to describe this moody 11 story hotel where the exclusive Club members share access to the Armani restaurants, Spa, lounges and a Nightclub. Luckily, everyone has equal rights to the hotel’s own Georgio Armani retail store – they wouldn’t want to deprive you from that! The residences were designed by Armani himself and the hotel architecture was designed by Wilson Associates. A clever job was done of reflecting the Tower’s spiraling form, which explains the soft cut corners and oddly cool spaces in some parts…

This dark conference room’s ceiling is sky high which makes for better acoustics!

A bit too cold but definitely intriguing Spa…

This ambient modern corridor makes you feel like you’re about to board a UFO- ultra cool!

The bathroom is covered in bamboo marble tiles. Yep- they even had us fooled!

The bar/lounge’s massive windows were dressed in plenty of Armani Home shades for a textured effect.

The Georgio Armani retail store standing stoic with understated opulence inside the hotel.

With a view from this tower, the ,400 per night for a studio is perfectly reasonable!

Car enthusiasts better brace themselves for this one, because this unique car themed hotel in Stuttgart, Germany, might get your blood pumping. The V8 Hotel(how apropos!) would be a paradise for those looking for inspiration to decorate their rooms with a car theme. Not only did they go all out and cover most of the walls with murals so guests can dream of living in a race car game, but the bed and accessories were made out of real cars! We wonder what kind of people have the audacity to stay in a place like this, but when we learned that it was built near the German International Centre of Automakers it made so much more sense. And if you still don’t quite believe that a car themed hotel exists for grown-ups, take a look for yourself…
